Topless engagement photos – A new trend?

FEELING GOOD? Never mind the Kardashians, there’s another show generating a lot of buzz

TV entertainers Lil Scrappy and Erica Dixon have had a tempestuous relationship, but now he’s ‘put a ring on it’ and the couple are not being shy about their public displays of affection for each other.

“It was time for me to do something really grown,” he shared. “So I popped the question and the beautiful lady said yes … that’s why she has the ring on her finger.”

The ‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’ stars became engaged when Lil Scrappy popped the question during the show’s reunion episode.

In the issue, the two talked about how their relationship works and his portrayal as a bad father on screen, BETreports.

“They kept saying I was a bad father,” he said. “That was the one thing that kept getting to me. It was messed up… I have always been there for Erica and [their daughter] Emani, so it kind of got to me when they would say that… I’m not like these other baby daddy dudes out here. I really take care of mine.”

Despite these words, Scrappy was having an affair with another woman, Shay, right before the engagement.

In fact, on the TV show, Scrappy’s mother, Momma Dee, seemed to despise the mother of his child and made no secret of her wishes for him to move on to her preferred choice of his lover, Shay, reports Rolling Outdigital magazine.

But, after wading through the never-ending drama, and taking inventory of his feelings, Lil Scrappy dumped Shay on national TV, totally humiliating her and sending her off crying, and then proceeded to shock both Dixon and the show’s mostly female audience when he popped the question to her.

Dixon and Scrappy have reportedly known each other for a decade. So after all these ups and downs, can their relationship last? Or is it just a case of ‘good for television ratings’ move on their part? You be the judge.
